Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (SNA Award) database is based on Fellows and Award-winners of Sangeet Natak Akademi 1952-2010 published by SNA in 2011. This volume constitutes a roll of honour in the field of performing arts in India. These honours have been bestowed more than about 1,100 outstanding musicians, dancers, theatre artists and scholars. We have also added the data of awardees from 2011 to 2017 and of Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar award, also given by the SNA, to outstanding artists under 40 from 2006 to 2016 on their website (https://sangeetnatak.gov.in). As a result, data on more than 1,300 individuals are included in this database.
