How to use filtering database records
Keyword Search
By default, the keyword search returns records that contain each of the words you enter.
-
Example:
varnam
This will match both "varnam" and "devarnama". -
Example:
*varnam
This will match only "varnam" and not "devarnama". -
Example:
Bismillah Khan
This will return records that contain either "Bismillah" or "Khan".
Using Search Prefixes
You can use special prefixes to fine-tune your search results.
-
Example:
"Bismillah Khan"
(with quotes)
This will match the exact phrase "Bismillah Khan", and will not return results that contain only "Bismillah" or "Khan" individually. -
Example:
Bismillah -Khan
This will include records that contain "Bismillah" but exclude any that also contain "Khan".
Advanced Search
You can add additional search conditions by clicking "Advanced Search" link.
Sort
You can sort the results by clicking a table header. For example, the result will be alphabetically sorted by name, ascending when you click the "Full Name" header. The result will be changed to descending by clicking it again.
Download CSV
You can download the result by clicking the "Download CSV" link as a CSV file. It is enabled to download specific records only by clicking checkboxes on the left side.
